Headquartered in the UK and with operations in North America, Keronite is a leading provider of Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO) surface treatment applications offering corrosion protection, wear resistance, thermal protection and electrical insulation for the defence, commercial aerospace and industrial vehicle markets, and also in semiconductor manufacturing.

Keronite’s proprietary PEO surface treatment process utilizes an environmentally friendly method of producing ceramic layers on light alloys such as aluminium, magnesium and titanium to enhance their inherent performance characteristics. Through Keronite’s process, lightweight metals are afforded the wear and performance properties of high-weight materials such as carbide or steel and are well-suited to support demanding applications in high integrity applications.

With operations across three sites in Oxfordshire and Hampshire, Raymond Brown Waste Solutions is a key regional business providing skip hire, grab hire and other waste management services in Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire.

Collard Group provides similar services from sites across Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey alongside demolition works, asbestos removal and groundworks.  The acquisition of Raymond Brown Waste Solutions provides a strategic geographic expansion for Collard Group, enabling them to consolidate and expand their reach in adjacent areas.

Headquartered in Basingstoke and with operations in the UK, Romania and Taiwan, GTK has been in business for more than 25 years. Focused on the Northern European market, GTK has over 300 active customers, supported by a highly skilled European-based sales and engineering team.

In addition to bringing UK manufacturing back into the Volex Group after a gap of over 10 years, the acquisition expands Volex’s market leading cable assemblies division. Furthermore GTK’s business introduces important new capabilities, customer relationships and innovative new products to the Volex Group.
